History
Established in 1958, Marsiling Primary School is one of the oldest schools in the Marsiling/Woodlands estate. Originally known as Marsiling School, the school provided instruction in English, Chinese and Malay to children in the Marsiling area. Marsiling School was located along Marsiling Avenue, off Lorong Chikar. The school relocated to its current premises along Woodlands Centre Road in June 1986 and was renamed Marsiling Primary School.
In 2016, Marsiling Primary School was recognised for its commitment to environmental education and received the President’s Award for the Environment. In 2017, the school completed its PERI upgrading. In 2018, the school celebrated its 60th anniversary.
Marsiling Primary School was accorded the Learning for Life Programme in ‘LEAD (Learn, Engage, Absorb, Demonstrate) to Serve @ MPS’.
